Welcome to St. Clement’s School (SCS). We hope that the information on our site will be helpful to you in determining whether SCS is the best fit for your family. This is a very important decision for you and, as such, we encourage you to seek out all resources available. Of course, the web is just one element in a full process of discovery. We also encourage you to contact our Admissions Office and schedule a visit to our school. SCS is a special place – something you will feel as soon as you walk through the front door. With approximately 450 students, St. Clement’s has an intimate atmosphere where wonderful relationships develop across grade levels and amongst all members of our community. At SCS you will experience a close-knit community, made up of students, parents, faculty, staff and alumnae who share the same values and vision.

St. Clement’s students, known as "Clementines," are intelligent, well-rounded, giving girls, who grow to become values driven, accomplished and engaged women. Each student is encouraged and supported to achieve her highest individual potential – academically and personally – and to develop confidence and leadership skills.

You will also discover that SCS is a lot of fun! We work hard, but we also think it is important to have a good time, and there are plenty of opportunities - from sporting events to arts performances to House Day events. Please join us at a full-school assembly to get a taste of the incredible spirit at St. Clement’s School!

Above all, we encourage you to ask questions. Our website contains a wealth of information about daily life at St. Clement’s. It is intended to give you a sense of the activities and opportunities the girls experience; however, it is a sampling; if you do not see what you are looking for, just ask. Should you have any questions, please contact our Admissions Department.

Choosing a school for your daughter(s) is a very important decision. We look forward to meeting you and helping your family get to know St. Clement’s School.

Warmest regards,

Martha Perry '85

Effective Communication: A vital component of education
We are barraged today with fascinating articles and information about technology and its impact on our students’ education. Technology is having a huge impact on our girls and it is our responsibility to ensure its integration in order to enhance their learning experience. I am, however, concerned that there is not as much research and reflection about the importance of considering a balance between technology integration and face time when educating.
