Welcome toSt. Clement’s School.

It’s different here at SCS. There’s something special going on, a kind of energy filled with curiosity and courage. It’s the way our students approach things, from learning to discovery to play. It’s the way we teach – more than just the requisite skills, the ability to think deeply, critically, creatively, and become more self-aware.

We fundamentally believe each student is unique, and should be known and valued as such, and that if they are to develop and thrive, learning should be as unique as they are.

At SCS, your daughter will be challenged while being encouraged to be herself. She will be supported and will grow in ways you have yet to imagine.

For Students

We don’t just want students at SCS to thrive. We want them to boldly thrive – to see disruption as opportunity, to seize change with agility and imagination, to tackle the complex world of tomorrow with confidence and character. SCS students will flourish because they are empowered by purpose and the ability to see themselves as agents of change, challenged by the unknown, challenged to architect their own self-sustaining journeys.

Discover why SCS is the top choice for girls who want to create their own distinct path, and navigate it with confidence.

For Parents

At St. Clement’s School, your child will be supported, encouraged, and challenged.

Our commitment to academic excellence has defined the SCS experience for over a century. Your child’s educational journey will be marked by academic rigour and a renewed curriculum that continually challenges and assesses the act of learning itself in an inclusive and safe environment.

The goal is for each of our students to value learning as an outcome in itself, understanding it’s about the success of the journey, not just the destination.

We wish our Jewish community members a very blessed and meaningful Yom Kippur. G’mar Chatima Tova.
Here is a message from Isla W. ‘26, this year’s Women’s Empowerment Club Head, on #InternationalDayOfTheGirlChild!
“The United Nations General Assembly declared this day International Day of the Girl Child on December 19, 2011, meaning it has been celebrated for 13 years! Today, we celebrate the voices of girls worldwide and address the challenges that young girls face as a result of their gender. The theme for this year is ‘Girls’ Vision for the Future.’ This theme highlights the need to include girls’ voices and opinions in discussions about the future. Discussing what the theme means to us and how SCS meets this goal is important to us as students and as a community. Happy International Day of the Girl Child!”
This morning, we welcomed Dr. Iliana Lega from Women’s College Hospital (WCH) to SCS! Dr. Lega, a scientist and staff endocrinologist at WCH as well as an assistant professor, Department of Medicine, at the University of Toronto spoke with students in Grades 7-12 and staff. Her talk focused on topics like hormones and teen health; previous barriers and more recent advances in women’s health care; and how to self-advocate in a clinical setting. Dr. Lega’s presentation was the kick-off to an ongoing partnership this school year between SCS and Women’s College Hospital; it was spearheaded by Madison M. ’25, the Community Committee – School Partnership lead for the 2024-2025 academic year. 👏
