The SCS Experience

Welcome toSt. Clement’s School.

It’s different here at SCS. There’s something special going on, a kind of energy filled with curiosity and courage. It’s the way our students approach things, from learning to discovery to play. It’s the way we teach – more than just the requisite skills, the ability to think deeply, critically, creatively, and become more self-aware.

We fundamentally believe each student is unique, and should be known and valued as such, and that if they are to develop and thrive, learning should be as unique as they are.

At SCS, your daughter will be challenged while being encouraged to be herself. She will be supported and will grow in ways you have yet to imagine.

For Students

We don’t just want students at SCS to thrive. We want them to boldly thrive – to see disruption as opportunity, to seize change with agility and imagination, to tackle the complex world of tomorrow with confidence and character. SCS students will flourish because they are empowered by purpose and the ability to see themselves as agents of change, challenged by the unknown, challenged to architect their own self-sustaining journeys.

Discover why SCS is the top choice for girls who want to create their own distinct path, and navigate it with confidence.

For Parents

At St. Clement’s School, your child will be supported, encouraged, and challenged.

Our commitment to academic excellence has defined the SCS experience for over a century. Your child’s educational journey will be marked by academic rigour and a renewed curriculum that continually challenges and assesses the act of learning itself in an inclusive and safe environment.

The goal is for each of our students to value learning as an outcome in itself, understanding it’s about the success of the journey, not just the destination.

This week, SCS participated in an International Women’s Day assembly, led by members of the Women’s Empowerment Club.

Students provided background on International Women’s Day and the importance of gender parity. Gender parity is about having women and girls contribute equally in all aspects of personal and professional life, just as men and boys do.

They shared a striking fact: At the current rate of progress, it will take 133 years to achieve full gender parity, according to the World Economic Forum.

Following this portion of the assembly, students presented their insights from interviews they had conducted with faculty and staff over the previous weeks. Staff were asked:

What does International Women’s Day mean to you, and why is it important?

Who are the women and girls in your life who have “accelerated action”?

This discussion not only deepened our connection with faculty and staff but also provided an opportunity to celebrate the women who continue to inspire and create lasting change.
