Race, Privilege, and Community Conference at SCS

On Saturday, November 2, 2019, St. Clement’s School will host a full-day exploration of diversity issues focusing on Race, Privilege, and Community.

Open to independent schools from across the region, the conference will utilize the model created by the New York-based non-profit Pollyanna, Inc and will mark the first time that such an event has been held in Canada.

The day will be dedicated to the in-depth analysis and discussion of issues surrounding diversity, equity, and inclusion in our schools and in our communities. With delegations comprised of students, faculty, administration, parents, alumnae, and others in leadership roles, the event enables participants to share experiences, opinions, ideas, and possible solutions to take back to their own schools.

Registration is now open and with space limited, early registration is recommended.
