Adam Caplan
Technology & Teaching Coach

Throughout his more than 10 years in education, Adam has taught each of the Primary, Junior, and Intermediate grades from Kindergarten through Grade 9. In his current role as Technology & Teaching Coach, Adam works throughout the school to ensure meaningful integration of technology, encouraging innovation and risk taking for teachers and students alike. He also coaches Under-12 Soccer, Junior Softball and Track & Field. In addition to supporting several clubs, Adam has travelled with students to Tanzania, Ecuador and his favourite – Algonquin Park. Adam appreciates the earnest camaraderie between staff and students.

He loves outdoor activities like waterskiing, canoeing, camping, and running, and has volunteered his time with Camp Oochigeas, Camp Oki, Camp Erin and, in 2015, the Toronto PanAm Games.

Adam holds an B.A.(Hons.) in Communication, Culture, and Information Technology from Queen’s University, and a B.Ed. from the University of Toronto. He is also a Google-Certified Educator.
