St. Clementās School is delighted to welcome Dr. David Tranter as the first speaker in the 2020-2021 LINCWell Speaker Series on Wednesday, November 25 at 7:00 p.m.
Dr. Tranter is a researcher, professor, and the Scientific Director for the Centre for Relationship-Based Education. He has worked in the field of mental health, well-being, and education for more than 30 years and will join us virtually to discuss critical strategies that can be employed to promote student and family well-being during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The author of The Third Path: A Relationship-Based Approach to Student Well-Being and Achievement (with Lori Carson and Tom Boland) which focuses on the importance of relationships between educators and students as the foundation of student well-being and achievement, and Understanding Self-Regulation: Why Stressed Students Struggle to Learn for the Ontario Ministry of Education, Dr. Tranter has long worked with educators to support students at all grade levels to reach their highest potential.
