The SCS Experience
At SCS, you will find our unique small-school advantage: with 480 students in Grades 1 through 12 learning together under one roof, every Clementine is known and valued.
From the foundations laid in Grade 1, throughout their time at SCS, our students are encouraged and taught to question and discern, connect within and across disciplines, and persist through complexity and uncertainty. Our girls stand out as intellectually curious, courageous, and compassionate.

Why SCS?
At St. Clement’s School, every student is known and valued.
As a leading independent girls’ school in Toronto with 125 years of history, St. Clement’s School is recognized for its longstanding commitment to academic rigour and excellence in a small, nurturing environment - but that’s just the beginning. We’re a close-knit community that celebrates creativity, diversity, and innovation, where students from Grades 1 to 12 live, learn, and grow together under one roof.

Academics
How we teach and learn defines us.
Our commitment to academic rigour and excellence has defined the SCS experience since 1901. Here, academic rigour refers to what is taught, how it is taught, and how it is accessed. Our academic program challenges each one of our students to think critically and creatively, and to problem solve both independently and collaboratively.

Co-Curricular Programs
Whatever your passion, you can explore it at SCS.
You might enjoy softball, singing, and science; or creative writing, coding, and cross country running. We offer a supportive environment where our students are encouraged to try new things.
LINCWell
LINCWell is a full school approach, designed to craft a school experience for each of our students that is characterized by Learning, Individualization, Nurturing, Creativity, and Wellness.
A key component of St. Clement’s unique offering is a learning environment where our students are nurtured and supported, and each of our Clementines is known and feels valued. Our goal, in all that we do, is to enable our students to learn well, lead well, and live well. LINCWell ensures that we can meet this goal.

GET STARTED NOWParents’ Association
The primary role of the SCS Parents’ Association (PA) is to provide a vital link between the School and our families.
Throughout the school year, the PA organizes a number of events for the full school community. As well, volunteer Grade Parents serve as a communication link between parents in each grade and coordinate social events to bring parents together.
Volunteer Opportunities
Support our students with your time, passion, and expertise.
SCS thrives on the energy, creativity, and support of every member of our community, and we have many ways to get involved in the day-to-day life at the School and to be part of the magic that fills our halls.
Student Leadership
Leadership: it's about so much more than a title.
The Leadership Program at SCS is an outcomes-based approach that captures the big ideas and objectives about leadership that are important to our school community. It is a full school approach, meaning all students from Grades 1 to 12 are learning to lead.
