Please join St. Clement’s School for a full-day exploration of issues related to Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion as we host our next EDI conference for the independent school community. This year’s conference theme is Making Space, Having Grace.
While our last conference focused on feminism and its intersections, the desire and need for dialogue within and across identity groups was a key takeaway. This year’s more general focus on Making Space, Having Grace will offer a collective opportunity for delegates from independent schools – students, faculty, administrators, alums, parents, and board members – to consider how we make space for dialogue, and how we demonstrate grace when that dialogue proves challenging, controversial, or uncomfortable.
We are committed to encouraging and continuing conversations, exploring and delving more deeply into important issues, and affirming our collective commitment to work towards actionable equity goals in our schools.
We hope you can join us.
Cost:
The cost to attend the conference is $1,400 per school. Up to 15 delegates may attend; ideally, each school’s delegates will be a mix of constituents i.e. students, faculty, staff, admin, parents, board members, and alum.
