Please join St. Clement’s School for an evening with psychologist and New York Times bestselling author Dr. Lisa Damour. This presentation for SCS parents, alums, and community members is the first event in The Steady Presence Series, an ongoing partnership between SCS and Dr. Damour for
the 2023-2024 academic year.
What to Expect, When You're Expecting a Teenager:
- Understanding development
- Knowing when to worry, when not to worry, and what to do
- Developing an extraordinary toolkit - for teens, to build a toolkit and deal with distressing situations; and for parents, their own tools and practical advice for how to use them in the face of complex situations
- It's hard to be a parent right now - get some support to help navigate the highs and lows that come with raising teenagers
