St. Clement’s School invites colleague schools to the next gathering in our ongoing Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) conference series: Staying in Relationship: Holding Community Under Pressure. Schools are long-term communities; students, educators, parents, leaders, and board members continue learning and living alongside one another long after tension, disagreement, or discomfort occurs. This year’s theme explores what capacities help school communities remain connected, supportive, and functional under those conditions.

School are increasingly navigating:

-social media-driven discourse,

-rapid narration formation,

-geopolitical events entering school life,

-changing demographics,

-identity-based conversations,

-increasing pressure toward certainty, and

-reduced tolerance for ambiguity.

The challenge lies in not simply managing these issues – but in maintaining trust, participation, dialogue, and community while doing so.

SCS is proud to host our seventh EDI Conference for colleague schools.
