St. Clement’s Award Winner

The ACM Canadian Celebration of Women in Computing Conference (CAN CWIC) was held in Toronto on November 8 and 9 and St. Clement’s School’s Heidi H. (‘21) was amongst just a handful of High School students from across Canada to win the prestigious National Centre for Women & Information Technology (NCWIT) Aspirations Award. Recipients of this coveted award presented by the Association for Computing Machinery in partnership with Queens University are selected based on their aptitude and aspirations in technology and computing as demonstrated by their computing experience, computer-related activities, leadership experience, and tenacity in the face of barriers to access.
