Connected by the red blazer

This coming weekend is one of the most eagerly anticipated around SCS – when we welcome back hundreds of our alumnae over the course of three days! While remaining connected to our former students happens year round and outside of our official Alumnae Reunion Weekend festivities, this year the idea of “connections” is really at the forefront. In celebration of so many alum returning home to SCS this weekend, we’re excited to introduce SCS Connect!

SCS Connect is our new digital portal that allows alumnae to login and reconnect with classmates, give back as a mentor, expand professional networks, and keep up on SCS news and events. Alumnae can explore volunteer and mentoring opportunities, provide professional or industry advice, offer internships and job shadowing opportunities, review resumes, and arrange to meet for coffee/information interviews. It’s also another way to stay in touch with SCS and classmates!

To celebrate this new way to stay connected, our Reunion Weekend festivities are embracing the theme. The weekend kicks off bright and early on Friday, May 4, with Dr. Jenny Ingram, Head Girl of the Class of 1968, speaking at a spirited assembly, along with a breakfast and tours of the School. Alumnae can catch up with staff and current students, and see how things may have changed since their last assembly as students. The party really gets going on Friday evening, with a bash that is all about connecting! Alumnae, along with current and past staff, will catch up surrounded by party décor paying tribute to technology and this latest way to stay connected to the SCS community.

On Saturday, May 5, a spring lunch at the Cricket Club will feature presentations made to this year’s milestone classes: 1968 and 1993. Reunion Weekend concludes with a wider community celebration at St. Clement’s Church, the morning of Sunday, May 6.

It’s not too late join us at the cocktail party on May 4 – connect with Meagan Thomas to RSVP.

SCS Alum, we can’t wait to reconnect this weekend!
