This presentation for SCS parents, alums, and community members is the first event in The Steady Presence Series, an ongoing partnership between SCS and Dr. Damour for the 2023-2024 academic year.

What to Expect, When You’re Expecting a Teenager
• Understanding development
• Knowing when to worry, when not to worry, and what to do
• Developing an extraordinary toolkit – for teens, to build a toolkit and deal with distressing situations; and for parents, their own tools and practical advice for how to use them in the face of distressing situations
• It’s hard to be a parent right now – get some support to help navigate the highs and lows that come with raising teenagers
