This week, the Grade 11s paid tribute to the Grade 12s at the Friendship Assembly. After a musical serenade, next year’s Grads presented this year’s Grads with flowers, hugs, and heartfelt wishes. It’s a bittersweet occasion, with both sides looking ahead to new challenges and adventures, while also bidding farewell to friends.
With many Grad parents in attendance, the Grade 11s expressed their appreciation to the Grade 12s for their leadership, for the examples they have set, and for helping to forge the way forward for themselves. Perhaps most of all, however, it was for their friendship.
After the assembly, the Grads and their parents gathered in the third-floor lunchroom for the annual Grade 12 Parent and Daughter Breakfast.
