If you’re considering an all girls’ school next fall, your first step in the process is happening this spring!
On Saturday, April 29, the National Coalition of Girls’ Schools (NCGS) presents Girls’ School Advantage: Toronto, an informative outreach event to help prospective families learn about the unique environment of all-girls schools in the Greater Toronto Area.
The event opens with guest speaker Lyn Mikel Brown, a Professor of Education at Colby College in Waterville, Maine, as well as co-founder of three grassroots girl-fueled activist organizations: SPARK Movement, Hardy Girls Healthy Women, and Powered by Girl. You’ll have the opportunity to hear about the benefits of all girls’ schools, straight from girls themselves as part of a student panel. Following the Q & A session, visit the School Fair to learn more from representatives from each of the participating NCGS member schools:
- St. Clement’s School
- The Bishop Strachan School
- Branksome Hall
- Havergal College
- Hawthorn School for Girls
- Holy Name of Mary College School
- The Linden School
- St. Mildred’s Lightbourn School
- Trafalgar Castle School
We hope you can join us on Saturday, April 29 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Upper Canada College, 200 Lonsdale Road in Toronto.
