Welcome toSt. Clement’s School.

It’s different here at SCS. There’s something special going on, a kind of energy filled with curiosity and courage. It’s the way our students approach things, from learning to discovery to play. It’s the way we teach – more than just the requisite skills, the ability to think deeply, critically, creatively, and become more self-aware.

We fundamentally believe each student is unique, and should be known and valued as such, and that if they are to develop and thrive, learning should be as unique as they are.

At SCS, your daughter will be challenged while being encouraged to be herself. She will be supported and will grow in ways you have yet to imagine.

For Students

We don’t just want students at SCS to thrive. We want them to boldly thrive – to see disruption as opportunity, to seize change with agility and imagination, to tackle the complex world of tomorrow with confidence and character. SCS students will flourish because they are empowered by purpose and the ability to see themselves as agents of change, challenged by the unknown, challenged to architect their own self-sustaining journeys.

Discover why SCS is the top choice for girls who want to create their own distinct path, and navigate it with confidence.

For Parents

At St. Clement’s School, your child will be supported, encouraged, and challenged.

Our commitment to academic excellence has defined the SCS experience for over a century. Your child’s educational journey will be marked by academic rigour and a renewed curriculum that continually challenges and assesses the act of learning itself in an inclusive and safe environment.

The goal is for each of our students to value learning as an outcome in itself, understanding it’s about the success of the journey, not just the destination.

Recently, 12 SCS students went to the MaRS Discovery District for the 7th Annual Toronto Youth Stem & Innovation Conference (TYSIC.) They heard from several speakers in STEM-related fields and participated in the Student Innovation Challenge. Congratulations to Vivian M. ’25, who is a co-chair of the TYSIC and Ellie P. ’24, who was on the conference organizing committee. Kudos also go out to the Grade 10 group who presented their “Health Spot” App, as well as the Grade 11 group who pitched “Our Green Block” as a way of addressing the UN’s mandate for sustainability. (The “Our Green Block” pitch made it to the final three!) 👏

Wishing a Happy Passover to everyone in our SCS community celebrating. Chag Sameach!
We are ready to learn s'more from our Grade 1 students, who made solar ovens as part of a science experiment reently - with Grade 5s helping them record their results. During the two-hour experiment, students were excited to see the chocolate melt! 🍫 We can't wait to serve up more delicious experiments over here.
It's Earth Day! 🌎 To celebrate, we would love to shine a light on a group of our Grades 10 to 12 students who were recently at @globalideasto to talk about the global challenges in food waste reduction.

There, they participated in a poster presentation and interviewed an executive at @campbellcanada to learn more about the logistics of their production and sustainability practices.

Their solution to the food waste problem was to start an NGO that certifies companies with practices that minimize food waste and educate people on food waste prevention.

We are so proud of these students for their creative insights!
