SCS Sports Roundup Fall 2018

Soccer

After just missing out on a spot in the final four during the regular season, the Senior Soccer team lost in the consolation finals at the CAIS tournament held at The Country Day School. Meanwhile, the U15 Soccer team lost a very close match to Branksome Hall in the first round of the playoffs and the U12 Soccer team ended a fun season with a cold and snowy day at Holy Trinity School.  So inhospitable were the elements that our courageous Clementines had to wear their winter jackets under their soccer jerseys to stay warm!

Basketball

The Senior Basketball team finished the regular season in 3rd place before losing a very close semi-final. However, they defeated Bishop Strachan School to finish third overall and competed in the CAIS National tournament at BSS and The York School in November.  Despite injuries and illnesses, the U14 Basketball side still succeeded in finishing the regular season in 4th place in their division. The U13 Basketball team had an excellent season, narrowly missing out on a spot in the final four, while the U12 Basketball side continued to pick up steam and ended the season with a very strong showing at their final tournament at Hillfield Strathallan College.
