Daphne has been skiing almost as long as she’s been walking. On the slopes from the age of 2, she started racing when she was 7. Her first season with the SCS Alpine Ski Team this year was a successful one – the highlight for Daphne being the team’s performance at OFSAA, where they raced away with silver and bronze medals.
The best piece of coaching advice Daphne has received on the SCS team is to try not to overthink the course, and just ski her fastest. Daphne clearly took the instruction to heart, helping her team fly down the hill to the title of CISAA Champions, in addition to their OFSAA hardware!
