Our Grade 5 students recently took the Eglinton Crosstown on a trip to make connections with a class at a colleague school, ahead of their collaborative outdoor education session with the Pine Project - an outdoor education program dedicated to helping children and youth build lasting relationships with nature. SCS encourages active travel for commuting to school, class trips, and co-curricular activities whenever possible - and the LRT line has opened up a whole new set of opportunities to get out in our community while keeping our carbon footprint low.

The Grade 5s and Penguin give the Crosstown two flippers up! 🐧
We’re excited to welcome you! Our spring Open House takes place today from 9:00–11:15 a.m. We can’t wait to meet our future Clementines! 🍊
Only seven more sleeps until Alum Reunion Weekend 2026! We are very much looking forward to welcoming alum and past staff back to SCS May 1-3. If you haven’t already done so, it’s not too late to RSVP! The deadline has been extended to Monday, April 27.

See you soon, and get excited! 🎉🥳
