Each year, at Closing, I relish the opportunity to look out to see and speak to our entire School community.
While spending so much time at home over the last three months, I have noted that my condo balcony windows and sliding glass door could use a generous spritz of Windex.
There is much to understand about working and learning virtually. As the School plans for every possible scenario in the fall, what is front of mind for me is the imperative to connect with people and foster ways to better understand what life is like for people ‘behind the screens.’ Gathering diverse perspectives from all involved and combining these with educational best practices is important;
It’s a time for everyone to do more; to speak up; to learn; to listen; to be comfortable with being uncomfortable. On Wednesday, we held our weekly full-school assembly. What was originally scheduled as our ‘All House Day Assembly’ instead was a space for students and staff,
