Good evening and welcome to our 118th St. Clement’s School Closing. We are thrilled to gather as a community to celebrate our outstanding girls and their accomplishments.
It is unfathomable to me that we are here already;
It was the turn of some of St. Clement’s youngest members to share their accomplishments and achievements at the Grade 1-3 Spring Showcase on June 6.
Grade 1 performed a song in Powell Hall and Grade 2 and 3 combined for a performance of The Tempest which would have impressed even the Bard himself.
On Saturday, November 2, 2019, St. Clement’s School will host a full-day exploration of diversity issues focusing on Race, Privilege, and Community.

Last week I attended the Times Higher Education (THE) Teaching Excellence World Summit at Western University. This three-day conference was an opportunity to meet with higher education administration and to hear from professionals and experts on teaching and learning,
Throughout the course of a St. Clement’s School year, assemblies provide an opportunity to educate, entertain, and share. We use our twice-weekly get-togethers to learn more about each other and the world around us,
Each year, St. Clement’s students participate in provincial, national, and international academic competitions and on May 29, SCS paid tribute to more than 95 of the School’s greatest ambassadors.
It has been a remarkable year for the School,
I always appreciate the reminders and lessons one learns through experiences at our school and this week didn’t disappoint in providing several for me.
One that stood out portrayed the power of perception and its impact on one’s thinking and decisions.
