Our St. Clement’s uniform is famous around the Toronto area. One of the most iconic pieces of the Clementine uniform, however, is the gold belt that our graduates have donned for the past 66 years.

Each year a panel of alumnae, spanning classes from the 50s to the 70s, award an Alumnae Scholarship to a current Grade 12 student. Applicants submit an essay on what it means to them to be a Clementine and the panel selects one student who receives a financial contribution toward their university tuition.
This week I have been in Vancouver attending our annual Canadian Accredited Independent Schools Heads and Chairs conference, and two events yesterday have left me feeling proud of our students and the work that our faculty are doing with them.
This week ended with a trip to Ottawa and Montreal for both alumnae visits and a meeting with girls’ schools in Montreal involved or interested in The National Coalition of Girls’
